Since 1985 Headway has brought positive change to those with brain injury and their carers through a range of services tailored to individual needs.We help people who have been ill or injured to rebuild their skills to achieve the best quality of life that they can. We also provide support to families who have been affected by brain injury.

Our Information and Support Worker in the South East, based in Kilkenny provides liaison to families affected by brain injury in the regions: Carlow/Kilkenny, Waterford, Wexford and Tipp S.

The service will provides information on all aspects of brain injury, advice on referral pathways and signposts to other local and national services.

The service also coordinates a number of local groups for people and family members affected by brain injury.
